Jailbreak - Table Read (Part II)
In part II of my analysis, I beg the Lords of the Entertainment Industry to PLEASE purchase and produce this script, as the franchise potential is HUGE for a horrifically unique character like the Ice Cream Man. Will my prayers finally be answered? I can't say, but I'm definitely ready to make some sort of a deal with God, like Kate Bush went on about in her song of the same name, or any other willing entities.

First horror themed script I am writing.
It is Steven King/Spielberg.
I want people to get goosebumps everytime they hear the ice cream truck noise in the summer.
Like Jaws made people scared of the Ocean.
1990s.
EXT. baseball field - day
Fly ball. BB runs after it in right. Misses it.
Other team wins the game.
BB is dejected. Other kids shame him. "way to go asshole"
INT. SUBURBAN KITCHEN - DAY
BB with his family.
He looks depressed.
Keeps to himself as everyone else talks about bullshit.
EXT. SUBURBS - DAY
BB rides his bike to his friends house.
Set up the jailbreak game.
Kids personalities.
Team 1
Sally - Tough, wise
Sam - Fat kid
*Roc - Funny, wimpy kid
Team 2
BB - hero?
*Tommy - Big, older kid. Left back.
*Wanda - Troubled kid
Ice cream truck drives by.
EXT. Street - DAY
BB and Wanda hide in and someone's yard.
Hide in the bushes.
EXT. Street - Day
Tommy hides in a man's boat.
Ice cream truck passes him by.
Makes a noise.
Boat owner comes out with a shotgun.
Tommy sprints away.
EXT. Street - Day
Sam and Roc are on the hunt. Crack some stupid jokes about girls.
Sam has a crush on Sally.
Sally enters.
They spot BB in the bushes, run after him.
Roc pauses, looks in the window where a couple is having sex on the kitchen table.
Lord have mercy.
Hand snatches him from behind.
EXT. Street - Day
BB is out of breath.
Ice cream truck drives by him. He thinks he sees Roc in the back.
Creepy smile from ice cream man.
He watches it pass on. With that creepy song.
EXT. woods - night
Tommy walks alone in the woods.
Headphones in. Old school cassette walkman.
Typical horror suspense.
Finds a gun in a stream.
Whoa. Picks it up.
Someone attacks him from behind.
EXT. Street - night
BB and Wanda walk together.
Ice cream truck passes them. Creepy music.
"Theres something weird with that truck."
Wanda leads BB to a softball field. FLirts.
BB is awkward as she kisses him.
She is embarassed and and runs away.
EXT. Woods - Night
Wanda cries. Leans against a tree.
Shadow approaches.
A spider crawls onto her shoulder. She freaks.
THen a hand reaches out...
EXT. BASEBALL DUGOUT - night
BB sits alone.
Hears the ice cream truck music.
Walks out. Follows the truck.
EXT. woods - BON FIRE - night
High school kids drink. party.
Sally and sam walk into the party.
bullied.
Sam tries to stand up for her, but he is punched hard by an older kid.
Roc shows up, picks the older kid up, choke slams him. Tosses him into the fire.
The kid stop drops and rolls.
Sam and sally go to him but he doesn't look the same. Demonic eyes.
ext. train track - night
Roc, sam and sally walk the track.
"still cant belive you did that"
Ice cream truck parked in the distance.
Dog approaches. Sam and sally pet the cut dog.
It growls towards roc. He stares at the dog. Hasnt said a word.
Roc grabs it, launches it miles into the air.
Sam and sally shocked. Can't believe his treachery.
He then changes form to a demon and into the ice cream driver.
They run. He chases Sam. Gets him. Throws him in his truck.
He chases after Sally.
Sally loses him. HIdes in a backyard. Inside a big tire swing. Very tense scene.
EXT - woods -
bb walks through the woods
Sams dead body above him hangs from a tree
ext. Street- night
Sally finds BB.
Where is everyone?
She explains everything.
He isn't sure what to believe.
They see the ice cream truck down the road.
Steal some bikes from a front yard and chase after it.
cool chase scene through people's yard. the baseball field.
maybe this a montage?
EXT. sanitation center - night
they follow the truck to the sanitation center. the man carries sam
through a sewer grate.
Sally and sam follow.
INT. sewer - night
inside, the man carries Sam to a nesting area. the rest of the children lay unconscious.
Paints some demonic symbols on the wall with his own blood, devious smile.
They creep closer. The man walks back outside.
Sally and Sam try to revive their friends.
The ice cream man sneaks behind them, shows his true demonic form.
Grabs them both. Screams.
Sally is knocked out. The man tosses her with the rest.
BB gets away. Runs.
EXT. baseball field - night
BB runs to the dugout. Hides under the bench, with some bag of equipment on top of him.
The ice cream walks onto the field. Sniffing. Turns into his demonic form again. Slobbering.
Approaches the dugout. Sniffs.
The teens from earlier drive recklessy down the road. Loud music. Startles him, just as he was about to get closer to BB. Tension builder.
He walks back to the sewer.
BB breathes again.
Gets his bravery back. Puts dirt under his eyes.
Tries to psyche himself up.
Grabs two baseball bats and a helmet.
EXT. sewer - night
BB walks back to the sewer.
Sees his friends all leave together.
He smiles, "guys - how did you get out" "did you get him"
Runs up to sally. Sally grabs a rock from the ground and knocks him out.
EXT. street - night
the kids walk the neighborhood.
Each one goes into their homes.
INT. tommy's home - night
TOmmy walks in.
Up to his parent's bedroom.
"tommy? what is it hun"
He walks slowly towards them. grabs the phone.
Screams. blood splatter.
Quick shots of each kid's home with screams/blood.
Screams/ blood splatter on windows.
EXT. sewer - night
kids, covered in blood, walk back to the sewer.
the kids merge together, turn into demon and then the ice cream man. He is a doppelganger demon.
He inscribes a pentagon / 666 on BB's chest. Laughs.
Starts up the truck, drives slowly away.
EXT. street - day
bb, shocked face, no emotion, walks back to his home.
passes neighbors watering plants.
his mom runs out - BB! what happened. See the devil symbols. BB!
He shows no emotion.
int. sewer - day
cops enter the sewer - shocked eyes.
devil symoblogy all over the walls.
kids starting to wake up.
they approach, guns drawn.
ext. woods - night
cops find sam in the tree
NEWS REPORT
...the most tragic murder Pelpod county has ever seen.
Footage of the cave devil drawings.
Man - it is the damn rock music and video games. Drive these kids insane.
Woman - we lost faith in our creator in this country. the devil has creeped his way into our children's heads.
interview with officer vinlinsky - the one thing we couldn't understand is how BB got Sam up the tree like that. I mean, Sam was a big kid, a good 200 lbs.
EXT. suburban street - day
ice cream man starts up the creepy music.
hums along in his ultra creepy way.
kids play tag in the front yard.
Ice cream, ice cream! run toward the truck.
